I’ll also take you behind-the-scenes with some of Review’s fashion designers, for an insight into the mysterious process of how our clothes come into being. (Hint – they don’t simply come to us, fully-formed, in a dream.)

REVIEW - the race day experience
This week we were lucky enough to have the winner of our Doncaster launch ‘Spring Racing Package’, the gorgeous Kylie, write the blog based on her experience at the races. Here’s her story!
“Firstly, I was so absolutely excited to win!! But that excitement was just the start of more to come...
As I was allowed to bring a guest, I chose my wonderful friend Deb to share this amazing experience with me. The journey began with a personalised shopping day at the new Doncaster store, where we filled our fitting rooms to the brim and tried on practically every dress in the store! I felt like a movie star! Lisa (the launch coordinator) and the Doncaster girls were absolutely gorgeous. After a few hours of playing dress-up, we found our perfect dresses and beautiful fascinators to wear with them.
Finally Oaks day arrived and we turned up at the Doncaster centre bright and early to have our hair done by BIBA Hairdressing. Next was our makeover by the very talented Napoleon girls…WOW what a difference great makeup can do for you! I am a bonafide Napoleon addict now! Off to the Review store we went to get changed into our race outfits and then, all dressed up and ready to bet, we awaited the arrival of our chauffer and the fabulous BMW 650 Convertible! Driving to the races in style was sensational…it was top down all the way! The weather was fabulous and, after wining, dining and checking out the horses (oh, and a couple of blisters of course!) we relaxed on the grass and enjoyed the sunshine.
It was a great day, my first Oaks in fact. Thank you Review, we had a fabulous time and we looked stunning…all thanks to you!!!! Thank you for making us feel special, we love you!!

On another quick note, Review at Myer Pacific Fair opens in QLD tomorrow (Thurs 20th Nov). I could do with a little break from the erratic Melbourne weather, so maybe I’ll see you Queensland-ers for a hot shopping day tomorrow!

REVIEWing the Oaks
Ladies’ day at the races screams fashion and Review always parties with the best of them. You couldn’t turn a corner this year without running into a gorgeous girl sporting a hot Review design! Our stores literally burst at the seams with original designs, so it was no wonder Review was a clear favourite at Oaks Day.
The Review team basked in the sun and took in the sights of the horses and fashion. Here are some of our favourite pics from the day…
I don’t know about you, but I’m not willing to hang up my stilettos with the saddle. I have a Christmas outfit to put together and many Christmas parties to attend! So, to kick-start this upcoming momentous season on your social calendar, we’re giving our Brisbane fans a taste of the VIPs by offering 15% off at our Brisbane Queens Plaza store this Saturday (15th November).

REVIEW is going to the Oaks. It's absolutely our favourite day of the Spring Racing Carnival.
We're looking forward to catching up with lots of our fashionable friends and doing a bit of people watching from behind our sunnies. We might even get to watch a couple of races but our priority tomorrow is to frock up and have a chat.
