It’s my little e-world, a fashion forecast keeping you up-to-date with the freshest items to hit Review stores, and other exciting happenings.
I’ll also take you behind-the-scenes with some of Review’s fashion designers, for an insight into the mysterious process of how our clothes come into being. (Hint – they don’t simply come to us, fully-formed, in a dream.)
Stay tuned also for updates on trends as seen on the street, and those on the horizon…

A summer-y summary of fashion & lifestyle happenings...

* For celebrities-in-waiting:
Rachel Zoe, stylist to the stars (including Micha Barton and Nicole Richie), has published a style bible, and WhoWhatWearDaily has extracted a few snippets of her advice. Says Rachel: 'In the morning, I think accessories first, clothes second.' Good to know I'm not the only one who plans an outfit around what jewellery/shoes/scarf/hat takes my fancy that day!
Gala Darling's tip for how to apply fake eyelashes is essential for those who, like me, love them, but find they can't wear 'falsies' as often as they'd like (which if you love fake eyelashes, would be every day!) because of the notorious difficulty in applying them.
* For Chloe Sevigny fans:
She's a style icon to millions, not afraid to take a risk or flaunt her individuality. Now she's teamed up with, well, Chloe, to promote its new perfume! I think she looks beautiful:
Trend alert: Knee-high socks. This is one to file away for next winter - looks like it could be a twist on the leggings trend that was everywhere during the winter just gone. As you can see, Carrie is sporting socks in the upcoming Sex & The City movie which I reported on not long ago. Now, I'm loving how Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan are wearing it.
* For sweet-tooths:
At Review, we don’t mind indulging in a cupcake (or seven) every now and then. So we thought our Melbourne shoppers might like to know about Sugadeaux, a bakery that takes orders online, and delivers the cupcakes to your door! Reading through the flavour options is mouth-watering - Mint Slice, Baci, Peanut Butter Choc, Key Lime Pie - so no doubt you'll have a hard time deciding. It's about time we got a bakery dedicated to cupcakes, the way LA has Sprinkles and New York has the famous Magnolia Bakery. If only we'd thought of it first!
* For the slightly more health-conscious:
I'm addicted to Pomegranate and Blueberry grassroots juice, which is popping up across hip and happening cafes. The pomegranate fruit is full of healthy little antioxidants to help fight disease. The sweet, tangy flavour of the pomegranate is hugely popular in America, and Australia looks set to be the next to embrace it. It makes a delicious ingredient in cooking - visit the Pom Wonderful site for dinner, desert and drink recipes.

Review's Adelaide shoppers celebrate new store launch
We recently opened our very first Review boutique in Adelaide. Now, not only can you shop at Review in Myer Adelaide, but on Rundle Mall as well!
So we thought, what better occasion for a party? We held an exclusive launch for around 150 of our Adelaide VIP customers, plus members of the South Australian media.
Our guests shopped in style, sipping on pink champagne and snacking on pink treats including marshmallows and cupcakes.
Thanks to everyone who joined us for making it such a fabulous evening.

Review at the races
Melbourne's Spring Racing Carnival really lives up to its name - it’s a whirlwind of fashion, friends, fun, frivolity, and fillies! There's really nothing to rival it anywhere else in the world.
For Review, it all started back on Saturday 20th October at the Caulfield Cup, where we dressed BMW's promotional models for the day. BMW also invited some of Review's lovely ladies along as guests, so our girls put their best dresses (and hats) on and basked in the glorious sunshine.
Check out their gorgeous outfits!
Next up was Oaks Day (Thursday 8th November), which is officially ladies' day at the races! (Although in reality every race day is ladies' day, as it's all about the fashions.) Again the Review team was out in force (and we even let a few of the gentlemen come along..!).
Another day, another dress…

Sexy new stores popping up near you!
Review has just re-opened its Parramatta store, which underwent a make-over! We're very excited about our new interior design style. We think you'll enjoy shopping in this lush, French-boudoir inspired environment.
Here's the first impressions from our NSW employees: Kim: "Classy, beautiful and elegant." Alison: "Amazing! Very feminine and a classic look." Lindsay: "Incredible! It feels amazing to work in such a beautiful store!" Deena: "Fabulous! Very chic!"
