Job description and responsibilities
Employee profile: Angie Oung

Part-time employee at Review’s store within Myer Chadstone, Victoria
Angie began working at Review in 2004.

Why did you choose to work at Review?
I used to walk past the window displays and gush over all the pretty items. Whenever I went in to browse or buy, I would always receive excellent service. I thought to myself, "how great would it be to work in such an environment," and here I am today!

What are the best parts of the job?
* Knowing that you are going to be greeted by a bunch of awesome colleagues really makes you look forward to coming to work
* The proud and giddy feeling I get when watching customers swoon over the latest collection of pretty tops and dresses
* The happy and excited (and sometimes relieved) look on the faces of customers when you have managed to help them find an item they adore
* The heartfelt "thank you" from customers for all the effort you have put in
* When certain customers acknowledge your absence in the weeks that you were away/sick
* Being a part of a great team that always puts in 110%

What are your usual hours?
It varies depending on the week (we have a rotating roster), but I generally work around 12 hours per week, with shifts from 4-8 hours in length. My manager (Eva) is especially supportive and understanding, so rostering is moderately flexible.

What are your main responsibilities?
Greeting and serving customers, signing up new Review VIP members, replenishing stock, keeping up the store presentation and reading the weekly memos so that I am updated on all the latest Review news.

Do you have input into the ranges Review designs?
Yes. The design team is fantastic in encouraging store staff to put in their two cents worth! We submit weekly product feedback sheets, and then there are our quarterly product nights where a new collection is showcased, and each garment critiqued.

Who is your style icon and why?
Nicole Richie (or rather her stylist Rachel Zoe) for always looking very chic, yet not too put together.
