I love Frocktober because it is a fun way to frock up and get together with friends

What makes Frocktober special to you?

Frocktober is really special to me as it supports a cause that is very close to my heart. Thirteen years after receiving my diagnosis at the age of five, I am lucky to be amongst a small percentage of women to survive ovarian cancer and I am so fortunate to be able to participate in Frocktober. I love Frocktober because it is a fun way to frock up and get together with friends, whilst at the same time supporting the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). There is not an early detection test for ovarian cancer, which makes the efforts of the OCRF to raise money for vital research so critically important.  I love being one of the OCRF’s Community Ambassadors and it is exciting to see so many ladies ‘frocking' up this October in support of the OCRF.

How long have you been involved with Frocktober?

I hosted my first Frocktober event in 2018. We had such a fun afternoon dressed up in our “frocks", with incredible support from family and friends. Together we raised over $13,000 for the OCRF, of which I am so proud.

Which Review dress will you be “frocking” this October?

There are so many gorgeous Review dresses that are perfect for Frocktober!  I am looking forward to ‘frocking’ the Monaco Spot Dress, and the Peony Rose Lace Dress is another pretty option for Frocktober.
