Q. What separates do you design?
I design all tops and all pants for Review. I also am responsible for career jackets, career skirts and career dresses too.
Q. How do you cater for different body shapes?
When designing each range we always ensure that we have a variety of different sillhouttes/different necklines etc accross all of our styles - these varieties naturally flatter different body shapes. This ensures that whoever you are, Review will have an offering that can cater to you and ensure you always feel at your best and fabulous!
Q. Where do you find your inspiration?
I love to look at fashion icons from the past - think Audrey Hepburn and her timeless elegance in nothing more complicated than a great pair of fitted black pants with a cute top! Separates is all about putting an outfit together, so I also love to look at more modern day muses too who are just great at putting a look together. Reese Witherspoon always looks fab, and Olivia Palermo is a master at elegant dressing.
Q. What era of fashion has influenced your designs the most?
Can I choose two eras? You can't beat the 1950s for classic tailoring and timeless details, but I also love the 1960s for their pop of colour, sense of fun and touch of quirk in their fashion!
Q. How do you decide which skirts will have pockets?
It all depends on the fit on the garment and whether pockets look and feel flattering or not. Sometimes they wouldn't look right or would make the garment sit uncomfortably, so it really depends on style to style.
