Step back in time to old world glamour with our luxurious new collection L’Hôtel Review.
Our new campaign is inspired by the opulence of the luxurious and ornate hotels of days gone by. L’Hôtel Review could be right out of a European city in the 19th century.
The most important aspect in ensuring the campaign had a vintage feel was the location. After scouting high and low for an authentically beautiful hotel, we discovered the beautiful Craig’s Royal Hotel.
Located in Ballarat, Victoria, Craig’s Royal Hotel opened in 1853. The hotel is rich with history and has housed many notable guests including numerous members of the British royal family. A location fit for royalty is perfect for Review!
Craig’s Royal Hotel was lovingly restored in 2010, and the attention to detail shines through in the campaign. The vintage wallpaper, wooden fittings and gold detailing perfectly complement our collection.
Our model Abbie Heath was the perfect Review Girl to show off our new collection, although the limelight was stolen by a beautiful pooch. The striking Dalmatian in the campaign is called Apollo, Australian Champion Dimadal Journey To The Stars. We loved working with Apollo in this photoshoot.
After using a stunning 1956 Chevrolet Corvette in our Getaway Girls campaign, we decided to keep the car theme going. This brief for this campaign called for less retro and more old world sophistication; a classic 1962 Black Bentley Cloud was the perfect fit.
The new collection introduces a rich winter palette of wine, forest greens and midnight blues. Hints of gold heighten the luxury and add sparkle. Winter blooms are inspired by the autumnal hues of the forest, combined with delicate butterflies and foliage for a modern take on the floral.
This collection also introduces new styles for Review including embroidery placement, cape dresses and biker jackets, all with a feminine twist. Favourite Review styles also shine through including our loved prom dresses, midi skirts, beautiful knitwear and romantic silhouettes.
