KATIE & her dogs, Juno & Macy

Meet the women behind our latest campaign, all the mums, dog-mums, and mums-to-be, straight from Review HQ.

What’s your role at Review and how long have you worked for the brand?

I am the National Visual Merchandising Manager and I have been at Review for over 4 years. I drive the visual and creative strategy for our stores to ensure that our customers have a wonderful experience when shopping with us.

Tell us a little bit about Juno & Macy?

Juno is a 5 year old White German Shepherd who is the biggest goofball and always has a smile on his face. He is extremely loving, loyal, and ALWAYS up for a cuddle. Macy is our little sass queen. She is a 3 year old Labrador x German Shepherd who is full of life and is always making us laugh. Macy is obsessed with any food she can get her paws on. She might be the smaller and younger of the two, but she is definitely the boss!

What inspires you?

Travel! I love going to other countries and seeing the way people from different cultures live. Some of my favourite countries have been Morocco, Turkey and Egypt. So much colour, culture, amazing food, and beautiful people. Seeing the way others live gives me a lot of perspective and appreciation for what I have, and allows me to make the most out of my life.

What’s your favourite part of being a pooch-mum?

Our dogs bring me so much joy! Their love is unconditional and they give the best furry cuddles! I love that as much as they depend on us, they are also very self sufficient. Having two dogs is amazing as they keep each other occupied while we are at work, but when we are home their personalities bounce off each other and make us laugh so much. People often refer to them as my dogs, but to me they are my children.

What does a strong woman look like to you?

Thinking about the women in my life who I consider to be strong, they all have similar attributes. They are independent, can hold their own, stand up for their beliefs, voice their opinion, and aren’t afraid to go against the norm or take risks in life. Strong women come in all shapes and sizes, and I believe everyone is strong in their own way.

Do you take Juno & Macy away with you? Any tips on where to stay for a four-legged friendly holiday?

Absolutely! We generally head to the beach with our pups as they love the water. Last year we booked a pet friendly Airbnb in Phillip Island – I highly recommend looking for Airbnbs that will allow you to bring your fur babies.

What’s on your winter wardrobe wishlist?

I can’t go past fluffy outerwear in winter, so the Sovereign Jacket in Forest Green is definitely on my list. I will also be buying the Brighton Jumper and Tessa Top as these look great with skirts and make the perfect layering pieces. And then there are the coats! I always buy a lot of coats from Review as they are amazing quality… this year the Longleat Coat in Camel is on my wishlist.
