Behind each of our gorgeous pieces is the backstory of how the print was inspired, the fabrications were selected, and the silhouette was designed.

Our new Dolce Floral Dress is our latest work of art, boasting flattering short
sleeves, a collared neckline, a midi-length and our stunning Dolce Floral Print.

The Design Process

Our statement Dolce Floral Print was inspired by a scarf purchased
by the Review Design team at a vintage market in Los Angeles. The team then worked closely with a talented Freelance Print Designer,Nisha, who hand-painted the floral elements into a print.  You might recognise her work from our gorgeous Cambridge Dress.

The Print

The original hand-painted floral design included a stunning pop of orange
and green, but our Designers opted for a classic blue and white palette inspired by
popular porcelain designs. Creating the perfect timeless and chic statement.

The print was then "broken down" and carefully arranged by the design team
so they could find the perfect placement for every flower and leaf. Finding the
right spot on the fabric for Nisha's gorgeous artwork was crucial to making sure
both you and the Dolce Floral print shine when being worn!

Because we know you ladies love a vintage-inspired dress, the Dolce Floral Dressis cut into a timelessly flattering 50s shirt dress style.

Combining masculine and feminine design elements, the Dolce Dress features a v-neckline with a classic collar and lapel, short cap sleeves with turned-up cuffs, and buttons from bust to hem. The princess seams in the bodice create the perfect shape for your figure, and the bonus pockets in the midi length skirt make this dress a 10 out of 10 for work and everyday wear.

As we head into the warmer seasons, comfort was a top priority when designing
our Dolce Floral Dress. Our wonderful Design team chose a blended fabric
made of linen and viscose fibres, two naturally derived fabrics, that are
known for being breathable, soft, and durable, which makes them
perfect for the transition from winter to spring!
